The Court Network is a volunteer driven organisation that places trained volunteers in courts across Victoria to help people through the often harrowing court process. Their 2024 annual volunteer gathering in October was the first time they had engaged an external emcee. Brett is often a first-time hire. Brett adds a polish and perspective that internal emcees cannot. An external emcee signals to the audience that the event they are attending is important and that they are valued. Few clients return to internal emcees again.
